Privacy Policy

Resonance by Callahorn Inc. · Effective October 2026 (version 1.1)

The short version

Resonance has no accounts, no ads, and no advertising tracking. Anonymous purchase history is used to manage optional in-app purchases and provide purchase reporting.

What happens on your device

All sounds — binaural tones, ambience, and music layers — are generated or played locally on your device. Core sounds and downloaded packs play offline. Purchases, restoration, and pack downloads require an internet connection. The app does not send your sound settings or listening sessions to us.

Information we collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, location, usage data, or diagnostics.

In-app purchases. If you buy a soundscape pack, the purchase is handled by Apple (or Google on Android). To confirm which packs you own and let you restore them, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase history (which products you bought, and when) together with a random, anonymous identifier created by the app. It does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those stay with Apple or Google. This data is used to unlock and restore your packs, validate purchases and prevent fraud, and provide purchase analytics through RevenueCat's dashboard. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Downloads. When you download a pack, your device requests the files from our server (tone.callahorn.com). Like any web server, it may briefly log the request's IP address for security and troubleshooting; these logs are not used to identify you.

Third parties

Resonance uses RevenueCat for purchase management and purchase reporting as described above. It has no advertising or cross-app tracking integrations. Apple may collect crash reports and app-store statistics under its own privacy policy if you have chosen to share them with developers in your device settings.

Children

Resonance does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Health notice

Resonance is intended for relaxation, focus, and general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Do not use it while driving or operating machinery.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
